What we keep, and why

This covers the Futurist Club and Biostasis Response Inc., both at 128 7 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta. It describes what this website collects. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Only what you type into the join form, and nothing else about you:

Your name

So we know who we are writing to.

Your email address

To contact you, and to send sign-in links for the member portal.

Your province or territory

Or that you are outside Canada. It decides where we build coverage next.

Why you joined

Coverage, the club, press, or curiosity — so the right person replies.

Where you came from

For example, the film's website. Nothing more detailed than that.

Members can change their name and province in the member portal at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your details, share them for anyone else's marketing, or run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. The only cookies it sets are the ones that keep you signed in to the member portal, and our own team signed in to the admin area.

Anything you later tell us about your health, your family or your arrangements with a cryonics provider is shared in conversation, not through this website, and is kept only by the people handling your coverage.

Who else handles it

Three services process data on our behalf to make the site work:

Vercel

Hosts the website.

Neon

Stores the member list in a Postgres database.

Resend

Sends the sign-in emails for the member portal.

Seeing, changing or deleting it

Email info@futuristclub.com and ask. We will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
